The Farm

This weekend I took the kids to a place I had read about in the newspaper called The Farm. For those of you interested in going, the address is 7222 W. Grand Teton Drive, and is open on the weekends.

The kids started out exploring the (tiny) maze.

Then they checked out the tractor.

They also had quite a few animals to see.

See this FEROCIOUS looking chicken. It induced severe fear based clinging from Sadie whenever it came near.

Check out this goat, hanging out on the table.

They had really, really nice pumpkins for sale. However, I did not buy any because I got all of my pumpkins for $2.48 each at Fresh & Easy!

It was a fun little farm (emphasis on the word little). I would definitely recommend going, especially if you have small kids. They also sold food (hot dogs, pumpkin chips, ribs), and had pony and carriage rides.

It was a fun very little farm. The girls enjoyed it. We also bought a pumpkin at Fresh & Easy. Lily was getting the little chicks out of their cage. I'm sure they were not supposed to be held but she would not leave them alone! We call her our animal whisperer.

Tell Sadie I feel her pain. I am terrified of birds and have been since I was a little girl.

Cheryl, It is free to get in. I think the pony rides were $5, but everything else was free.
