Disneyland Day 1

Oh dear......It has been an entire month since we were at Disneyland. But moving along, I give you Disneyland Day 1.

We only had 2 days at Disneyland so we made sure we were there right as the gates were opening. And lucky for us we were able to see Goofy right away:

We first headed over to Fantasyland. It is filled with little kid rides which I thought would be a good ice breaker for little Sade. She did okay, but there was still a lot of crying and fearfulness.

Teacups. My favorite!

Next up: Mickey's Toontown

We met Mickey!

Then off to Frontierland. We all (except Sadie)  LOVE Thunder Mountain Railroad.

Megan and Jackson could be seen holding their ears at the slightest noise:

We met Eeyore and Tigger while exploring Critter Country:

We visited and rode all of the rides in New Orleans Square and Adventureland before heading over around dark to visit Tomorrowland.

Space Mountain.

Although Sade was tall enough to ride Space Mountain along with almost every other ride, we didn't make her, which Megan and Jackson didn't mind one bit, since it meant that they got to ride everything twice!

Our first day was a whirlwind of rides and fun. We closed the park down and were able to visit each and every ride, except for the Storybook Land Canal Boats and the Casey Jr. Circus Train, which we passed by to ride rides we deemed more exciting.

Sade was a little trooper but crashed on the bus ride back to the car.

She wasn't the only one that was tired. After spending 13 hours at the park we were all tired and slept well that night.

Day 2 coming soon.......

You think that those first rides are "kid" rides but Mr Toad's is pretty scary. I have not ridden Thunder Mountain for years, because every time I go lately I'm pregnant or have to sit with a baby. I miss it, it's my favorite too :)
