Arrow Points

Jackson's last big hurrah before becoming a Webelo was earning one last arrow point.

Choosing the cheer:

The good ole watermelon cheer!

Throw it in the air:

Ninja slice it in half:

Eat the watermelon AND the seeds:

It's plain old fun.

Our New Pool

A few weeks ago Eric and I were at Sam's Club and noticed that their 20' X 48" above ground pool was on clearance for a super cheap price. Boy am I glad we bought it! It's big and sturdy and hasn't been that hard to keep clean (I thought it would be). It's truly been a blast.

If there is ever an opportunity to do a headstand Sade will take it:

Jackson tried too:

We always try to include Tucker in our fun. He wasn't too much of a fan:

I'm sure the neighbors don't mind this:

More surfing:

We even have our own backyard wave pool. No trip to Wet - n - Wild necessary:

I long for a pool, but not at our current house, so this will do very nicely in the meantime.

Brooklyn Bowl

A couple of weeks ago we went with some friends to the Brooklyn Bowl which is down by the LINQ. It was AWESOME. We had a VIP bowling lane which meant we had our own bowling lane for the entire evening. We just had to spend a certain amount of money on food and we had to buy concert tickets for the band that was playing that night.

Dave (our 7th wheel as Nancy was out of town), Amy & Kade:

Amy was giddy from all of the male attention:

And Dave:

After a few hours of bowling and eating "The Budos Band" started playing. Never heard of them? Me either. Apparently they are considered to be an instrumental "Afro-Soul" band. It was quite loud and screeching.

They played, and we bowled and ate for a couple of more hours until the band finished and my fingers gave out. Fun evening.
