The stomach flu has taken over our house this week:
1. It hit Sadie first. While throwing up, she exclaimed, "THIS IS THE WORST DAY OF MY LIFE!" It was the cutest/saddest/funniest thing I have ever heard.
2. Megan was next. Having an 11 year old with the stomach flu is much nicer than having a smaller child with the stomach flu. They can actually anticipate the throwing up coming on, and can make it to the toilet in time.
3. Then it was my turn. It was AWFUL. To add insult to injury Eric was out of town, and Megan had it at the same time as me so she wasn't any help either.
The only benefit (and I use that word lightly) to the stomach flu is the weight loss. My weight hasn't been this low since I had Sadie.
4. Jackson got hit with it while at school. It was always a big fear of mine to throw up at school, but he seems to have taken it in stride. He is not to the point that he can make it to the toilet in time, so the cleanup has been unpleasant. It seems unfair to me that we have concrete covering so much of our floors, yet the children manage to throw up on the carpet every time!

Thankfully Eric arrived home last night and didn't have to go to work today. I spent the day in bed, while he did the approx. 100 things I had planned to do. I am crossing my fingers for him.
