Sadie Swims

Megan and Jackson are not the only swimming maniacs around these parts. Sade has also proven to have a love of the water. She ADORED swimming lessons this year!

She was always more than willing to do every single thing her teacher asked her to do.

Jumping in the pool on the first day:

Floating on her back:

Bobbing and putting her head under the water:

Practicing her front float:

And finally swimming:

Last year I think they passed her out of pity, but I know there wasn't any pity passing this year:

She's a brave one.

Summer Cheesing

Sade was invited to a birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese (Thanks Taylor!), so we decided to make it a family affair. I have not been to The Cheese for a few years and had forgotten how much darn fun it is! Seriously. I actually had a good time.

Sade spent most of her time "riding" the numerous horses, cars and such.

This princess carriage ride was her favorite. She rode it multiple times:

She also loved this roller coaster simulator:

We convinced her to try a few games:

Lunch:

The monster truck and ride simulator were favorites of Meg and Jacks:

I think Eric's favorite was the Street Hoops game. He ended up beating the highest game score!

More games:

Another great indoor summertime Las Vegas activity!

Summer Preserving

We once again took a trip out to the Springs Preserve. This time to see the venom show, and to tour the venom displays that we had not yet seen.

I thought the venom show was held outside, but was thrilled to discover that it is an inside show!

After the show, we further explored the Origin Museum (for approx. the 10th time), and then checked out the venom displays.

Inappropriate?

This bridge was crazy, wobbly cool:

The big snake you could crawl through was my kids favorite part:

Yet another indoor summertime activity completed. I believe the bug exhibit starts this week. Anyone want to come?
