Summer So Far....

Although swim team, swim lessons, and girls camp have kept us busy, we have been able to squeeze in a few fun adventures.
Like Flip - n - Out!

The kids and I haven't been there for months, so I was surprised to see a few changes. Namely they have a section blocked off for kids 5 and under, and they have added a basketball hoop, which of course thrilled Jackson.

As previously mentioned we also visited the Children's Museum. We have been 3 times now and my kids still love it.

Jackson crazy dancin':

Sade is just about as good as pull-ups as I am. Which is not at all.

This was the favorite exhibit of the day. The kids spent a good amount of time putting various body parts (with cuts on them) under the microscope and grossing us out.

We did a little swimming at Nancy's:

And a lot of swimming at Wet - n - Wild!

We have only been 3 times, but I wrote of Facebook that it is hard for me not to go every day. If only real life didn't get in the way!

We all love it. Except Sadie. Since she is big enough to ride all the slides, I force her to go on them with me. These next 2 pictures accurately portray her mood each time we are on our way there:

While waiting in line for every ride there are tears, but I'm hard core and force it on her anyway. But once we are there, and have ridden a few rides, she comes around and has a fun time just like the rest of us.

Wet - n - Wild is better with friends.

My kids have been wanting to go to the Hollywood pool. Anyone else want to go one afternoon?

I can't believe how much Sadie dislikes Wet n Wild! Good for you for still fighting with this poor, misguided girl! She will thank you later, she lives in Vegas for heavens sake; she has to love water and adventure. It's the Vegas way! I've got to get out to the Children's museum! And anytime you are going to the Hollywood pool we are up for that too :)

This is how I felt at Disneyland with Eli! I wanted to punch him! And his favorite ride at WNW is that crazy steep drop slide! This summer has been totally fun so far! Not working is GREAT!!!!!!!!!!
