I REGRET: some things I have said that I find embarrassing.
I LOVE: my husband and kids.
I FORGIVE: eventually.
I ACHE: for inner strength.

I TRY: to become more fearless.
I AM NOT: fearless.
I SEEM: quiet but friendly.
I KNOW: my mom loves me.
I FEEL: nervous much of the time.
I DANCE: with my kids at home.
I DREAM: to live a long, happy, fulfilling life.
I GIVE: my time.
I LISTEN: to others opinions.
I SING: in the car.
I LAUGH: at comedians.
I CAN'T: tell a joke.
I WRITE: on my blog.
I CRY: when I am angry.
I SLEEP: enough.
I AM NOT ALWAYS: the best person I could be.
I SEE: people for who they really are.
I NEED: motivation to get things done I have been putting off.
I SHOULD: get those things done that I have been putting off.

For some reason I couldn't comment on your dream post. I had an interesting conversation with a young patient of mine, a 34 year old black man, and it was so frustrating because I feel like we should be so beyond racial issues, but he was describing some very real racial profiling he's experienced and it made me so sad that we still haven't fulfilled Dr. King's dream in this country. He and I have some very different political views, but it's great because we can enthusiastically disagree, but both have a love of America, and we can discuss our beliefs without animosity. That is the way it should be, not all the ugliness we see during the election cycles.
Sarah you have so many deep and amazing thoughts. Thank you for sharing them with the rest of us.
Seriously I love how deep you are. You are such a thinker and it makes me stop and think. I loved reading that about you, and I really enjoyed your views on the election results. So true!
