We've all heard that mom-like expression "I've got eyes in the back of my head." Do you ever wonder what you would see if you actually did have eyes in the back of your head?"
If my kids did not know I was watching them, I am sure I would see Jackson smothering Sadie with kisses, and Megan singing and dancing to music in her room. But the first thing I thought of was this:
This is how I wake up at least 4 nights a week. With the eyes in the back of my head I would see my 3 year old climbing into bed with us at 4 or 5 in the morning. I usually wake up when he comes in, but I am just so tired at that time in the morning that I let him stay. The problem is that he is very easy to sleep with, so it does not annoy me to the point that I make him stay in his bed. I know it would just take a few nights of taking him back to his room, but I don't have the motivation yet. Plus I do really love cuddling with him.

How cute that your husband snuggles with him. My 3 yr old does the samething. But she wakes me up to lift her up & than wants to talk...
It's hard to find the motivation at 3 am! My kids toss and turn too much for us. I hate how they kind of go in cycles with climbing in bed with us.
Eli doesn't sleep well with us. He doesn't fall back to sleep so we have to make him go in his bed but then one of us ends up in there with him. Usually Steve!!!! :)
What a sweet picture. My littles used to do that. Now they don't usually come in, sometimes I miss them doing that, although I do enjoy the sleep without them there. :-)
We have one too- It doesn't last forever, that's for sure. I sometimes miss the time with the older ones first thing in the morning!

that's an adorable photo. i would love it if jack would sneak in and fall asleep. but, no. once he comes in, it's up and at'em!!
OK...that is sweet! Remember, they don't stay little for long and pretty soon he won't be sneaking in your room to sleep at night...as long as he lets you sleep...hey, no worries!

Cute post. How'd you get such a cool pic??? You are so creative! Hope used to do this and I would get so cranky because I couldn't sleep next her. So we, I,;) take her back to bed or the couch. Actually anywhere she wants... just not our bed.:)
