Leprechaun Trap

Apparently on Monday of last week, the Kindergarten was told that they would need to bring in a Leprechaun trap on Friday. Since Sade was sick on Monday I of course ended up hearing about this on Thursday (why oh why is the communication so bad this year?!).

 

Anyway...Happily Eric arrived home earlier than usual on Thursday evening and Sade and him were able to bang this out quickly:

 

 

The theory was that the Leprechaun would first climb the ladder into the birdhouse:

 

 

And then fall into the hole they cut out of the bottom of the birdhouse which had a tube slide attached to it:

 

 

He would then end up trapped in the box attached to the slide. A foolproof plan I tell you!

 

It ended up being quite large:

 

 

 Can you believe not one single trap in all of Kindergarten could catch one? Those Leprechauns sure are tricky.
